How to make AutoCAD render without background (transparent)?

How to make AutoCAD render without background (transparent)?

Answer...
In AutoCAD, you can save the rendered scene (picture) without any background, just with the shaded 3D geometry.
In the RPREF palette, set the "Output file name" to a PNG-format image and in the dialog "PNG image options" choose the 32-bit color - "(24 Bits + Alpha)". The resulting image will contain transparent background whcih can be e.g. merged with a photo in Photoshop or otherwise used for DTP processing.
